We are so excited to meet you. Thank you for your interest in Juniper Ridge Community School (JRCS)! Applying is the first step for any family that would like their children to attend JRCS.
OPEN ENROLLMENT WINDOW 2026-2027 School year: January 12th, 2026- February 27th, 2026
Applications for Grades K - 8 are accepted starting at the Open Enrollment Window and continue through October. Applications will be based on a first come / first served basis. The waitlist is maintained from year to year, so if you applied and were not offered a seat, your child(ren) will remain on the waitlist for the following year (with an adjusted grade level).
Open seats in grades 1 - 8 will be filled on the aforementioned "first come / first served" basis and you will be contacted on or soon after March 3rd, 2026.
Kindergarten applications for the next year will be accepted during open enrollment January 12th, 2026- February 27th, 2026. All kindergarten applications received during the open enrollment window will be placed into the kindergarten lottery for available seats. Kindergarten students with siblings already enrolled will bypass the lottery and be seated first. The lottery will be held on March 3rd, 2026. Families will be notified beginning March 6th 2026 of seat offers in kindergarten. Once offered a seat, families will have a 24 hour window to accept.
JRCS is a tuition-free public charter school that is guided by the core principles of public Waldorf-style education. JRCS does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, presentation, religion, or disability. Enrollment is open to all students residing in Mesa County, including students with disabilities.
